ADMISSION FORM FOR POST-HND BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING (B.ENG) PROGRAMME 2015/2016 SESSION AT UNIPORT NOW ON SALE

​Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into the POST-HND Programme of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Port Harcourt for the 2015/2016 session.

POST-HND ENGINEERING PROGRAMME.

• OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME

The Programme is aimed at upgrading and strengthening the academic background of holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering Discipline, so as to improve their managerial skills and engineering competence and efficiency on their job, as well as ensure their enhanced industrial productivity.

The Programme leads to the award of Bachelor of Engineering [B.ENG] Degree in any of the following Engineering fields:

(i).   Chemical Engineering

(ii).  Civil Engineering

(iii). Electrical/Electronic Engineering

(iv). Mechanical Engineering

(v).  Petroleum Engineering

 

• ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess the following requirements in order to qualify for admission into the Programme.

(a).  A minimum of LOWER CREDIT at the HND level [in any of the Disciplines stated above].

(b). Credit level passes at the O/Level in the SSCE/NECO/WASSCE/GCE (or its equivalent) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other science subject [ from Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing or Further Mathematics].

 

• DURATION OF PROGRAMME

The Programme is a PART TIME based programme and the minimum duration of the Programme is three academic calendar years. A calendar year in this sense consists of three terms of evening and weekend classes.
 

• METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application Forms are to be obtained from the Post-HND Office, Choba Park, University of Port Harcourt, on payment of a non-refundable fee of Twelve  Thousand naira only (#12,000.00) in any of their designated banks in Port Harcourt.

 

• SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED FORMS

Completed Application Forms, together with two (2) passport-sized photographs of the Applicant and the original copy of receipt of payment for the Application Form should be returned to:

• WE OFFER ASSISTANCE

Our team at Elf-One Computer Technologies is on ground at the University Campus to offer assistance to anyone who is interested in obtaining the form but stays outside Rivers State or needs someone to put him/her through the process of application. We have learn't from experience that many applicants are been miss guided due to the fact that there was no one to put them through. Our team include students who have successfully completed the programme and those who are still students. We would guide you through the process of application from the beginning till the end or perhaps we can get the work done for you so that you don't have to show up in person (for applicants outside Rivers). 

We also offer Assistance after Admission (AA) to applicants who are successfully shortlisted in getting accommodation (for those who will love to stay in Rivers), assistance on how to get started with the programme etc.

The sale of Forms for 2015/2016 session will close on 31st December, 2015.

Please note that this programme is part time based and its for holders of HND certificate in ENGINEERING ONLY who wish to upgrade to B.Sc (B.ENG as it applies)
