It is good to know that the first Made-in-Nigeria smartphones and tablets are now available in market. The manufacturer of these smartphones is Afrione and the devices come in different specifications and sizes.
The first set of the Made-in-Nigeria Afrione tablets were given out to the volunteers under the Npower scheme, a youth empowerment program created by the present Federal government of Nigeria.
The Afrione tablet is called transformer. It is a two in one convertible device as its screen can be detached from the keyboard which makes it possible to use the device in two different ways, as a tablet when the screen is detached from the keyboard or as a Laptop when the screen is attached to the keyboard.
There are lots of interesting things about the afrione devices, they come with lots of Goodies. One of such is the OTG cable that comes with the tablet.
