During the last seminar, we were able to discuss about blogging. We talked about what a blog is and how to create a blog around what you know how to do best. We couldn't finish with adsense, which is an important aspect of blogging when it comes to making money on a blog. This was actually due to time (the time was really against us that day) but for those of you that attended the seminar, we shall be having follow-up content on this page concerning what we have learnt during the seminar that is why it is adviceable that you always visit this website for updates on what was thought during the seminar.
For the main time let me make you understand that it is important to know that blogging is not just about creating a blog around what you do and posting content on it alone.
When you have a website but people don't know about your website, it's like writing a book and hiding it in someones room; definitely nobody will see the book, likewise a website or a blog.
So, there are some other things to do after creating your blog. One of them is creating awareness, making people to know about your website, giving them your website address so that they can always come and see your website and see what you have to offer. This is called TRAFFIC.
We are still going to talk extensively on traffic i.e how can we make people to come and see our website or our blog.
If possible, we are going to be having series of seminars where we will get to discuss extensively about generating traffic to our website and some other stuffs that will enable us to have a very nice blog that can generate income for you.
Other things we will also discuss are:
- What can i do to generate income on my blog (Apart from adsense).
- Affiliate Marketing.
- Generating lead on your website or blog. etc.
